01 — What your proposal includes

Six things in
every proposal.

We write proposals in plain English — not consultant-speak. The goal is clarity on what you are buying and what you can expect to receive.

01
Project Overview
Our understanding of what you need, in plain language — written so anyone on your team can read it.
02
Detailed Scope
Exactly what is included, what is not, and any assumptions or dependencies. No ambiguity.
03
Timeline & Milestones
Realistic week-by-week timeline with named milestones and review points throughout.
04
Investment
Clear pricing — fixed for projects, monthly for retainers. Payment terms and milestones laid out.
05
Team
Who specifically will work on your project, their role, and how much of their time you have.
06
Terms & Next Steps
Contract terms, IP ownership, change-management process — and exactly how to say yes.
02 — Tips for a good brief

A great brief
gets a great proposal.

The proposals we send back are only as sharp as the briefs we receive. A few minutes spent on the brief is the best investment you can make in this whole process.

Tip 01
Business context
What you do, who your customers are, where you are today.
Tip 02
Real goal
The business outcome you want — not the deliverable.
Tip 03
Constraints
Timeline, budget, must-haves, no-gos. Honest is faster than vague.
Tip 04
What you tried
Past attempts and why they did not work. Avoids repeating mistakes.
Tip 05
Decision process
Who decides, by when, and how we can help them decide well.
03 — FAQ

Proposal
questions.

Prefer to talk first? Book a discovery call.

How long until I get the proposal?

Within 5 business days of receiving your brief. Most arrive within a few business days. If we need more information before we can quote, we will get back to you within one business day to clarify.

Do I need to do a discovery call first?

Not required, but often useful. If the project is straightforward and your brief is clear, we can go straight to proposal. For complex or strategic engagements, we will suggest a quick call to confirm we understand the situation before quoting.

Is there a cost for the proposal?

No. Proposals are free. We invest the time to produce them because it is part of how clients evaluate whether to work with us.

What if my budget is too small or too large?

We will tell you honestly. If your budget cannot cover what you need, we will say so and suggest either a leaner scope or another type of partner who is a better fit. If your project is below our typical engagement size, we will point you in a better direction.

Can I share the proposal internally?

Yes. Every proposal is written so you can share it with stakeholders, finance, and decision-makers. We write it for the whole team, not just the person we are speaking to.

How do I move forward if the proposal looks good?

Reply confirming you would like to proceed. We will send the contract, set a kick-off date, and start onboarding. Most projects begin within a few business days of contract signature.

Brief in, proposal out
