How we work

A five-step process,
not a fifty-page deck.

Every Webzcribe engagement moves through the same five phases — Discovery, Strategy, Implementation, Optimization, and Reporting. The process is what keeps things moving and makes sure the work delivers real, measurable results.

Each phase,
in detail.

What happens, who does what, what you receive, and how long it takes. Every engagement is calibrated to your industry and stage — but the structure stays the same.

01
Phase 01 of 5

Discovery

We start by understanding your business in depth — your industry, your customers, your competitors, your current website, and what's working (or not). Discovery is where we agree what success looks like before any work begins.

What we do

  • Kick-off call with key stakeholders
  • Business goals & commercial review
  • Current website & SEO audit
  • Competitor research & benchmarking
  • Customer & market analysis
  • Brand & positioning review

You receive

  • Discovery report
  • Current-state audit summary
  • Competitor benchmark snapshot
  • Agreed success metrics & KPIs
Typical timelineScoped during discovery
02
Phase 02 of 5

Strategy

Next we turn discovery into a clear, written plan — the channels we'll use, the content we'll create, the campaigns we'll run, the budget, the timeline, and the targets. Everything in plain English. No surprises later on.

What we do

  • Marketing & growth roadmap
  • Channel mix & budget plan
  • Content & campaign calendar
  • Targets, KPIs, and timeline
  • Internal roles & responsibilities

You receive

  • Written strategy document
  • Project plan & Gantt chart
  • Approved budget & scope
  • Quarterly milestones
Typical timelineScoped during discovery

Phase 03 of 5

Implementation

This is where the plan turns into real work. Pages get built, content gets published, ads go live, and tracking gets set up. Every week you see exactly what we have shipped and what is coming next — no hidden activity, no week-three surprises.

What we do

  • Website / app design & build
  • Content production & on-page SEO
  • Ad campaign launches
  • Analytics, tracking, and CRM setup
  • Weekly stand-ups & shipping reports

You receive

  • Live website / pages / app
  • Published content library
  • Active ad campaigns
  • Fully wired analytics dashboard
  • Weekly progress reports
Typical timelineScoped during discovery

Phase 04 of 5

Optimization

Once things are live, we don't sit back. We look at what's working, fix what isn't, and double down on what brings in real customers. Continuous improvement is built into every retainer — never an optional add-on.

What we do

  • Landing-page & CRO testing
  • Content updates & expansion
  • Ad creative & bid refinement
  • Technical & speed improvements
  • Conversion-funnel diagnostics

You receive

  • A/B test results & learnings
  • Optimised landing pages
  • Refreshed top-performing content
  • Updated campaign creative
Typical timelineOngoing within retainer

Phase 05 of 5

Reporting

Every month you get a clear report that ties our work to what actually matters — traffic, leads, sales, and revenue. Every quarter we sit down together to review progress, what's working, and plan what's next.

  • Monthly performance reporting
  • Quarterly business review (QBR)
  • Lead, conversion, and revenue tracking
  • Ranking, traffic, and ROAS analysis
  • Next-quarter roadmap planning

You receive

  • Monthly report (PDF + live dashboard)

— Our commitment

What you get
on every engagement.

Six things every Webzcribe client can count on — regardless of which service or which package. These are not optional extras. They are how we work.

01

A dedicated lead

One senior specialist owns the engagement end-to-end. You never get bounced between account managers or specialists.

02

Weekly progress

Every week you see exactly what shipped, what is in progress, and what is queued. No surprises, no chasing.

03

Direct access

Slack, WhatsApp, email — whichever channel suits your team. Replies in hours, not days.

04

Transparent pricing

Written scope before work begins. No surprise invoices, no hidden retainer creep.

05

Real reporting

Reports tied to leads, sales, and revenue — not vanity metrics. Quarterly we review the whole picture together.

06

Owned outputs

Every account, ad, page, and asset belongs to you. If the relationship ever ends, you walk away with everything.

— FAQ

Process
questions.

Want to talk through how it would work for your business? Get in touch — a senior specialist will respond within one business day.

How long does the whole process take from first call to results?

Every engagement is scoped during discovery so the specifics fit your situation. Web development engagements run a minimum of four weeks. Marketing engagements start with a minimum six-month commitment so the compounding work (SEO, content, brand, lifecycle) has time to show. After launch, you are in continuous Optimization and Reporting on a monthly and quarterly cadence.

What does the first week look like?

Week one is the kick-off call, access setup, and the start of Discovery. You introduce us to your business, your team, your customers, and your data. We start the audit, competitor research, and benchmarking work in parallel. By end of week one you have a clear picture of what is coming next.

Do I have to commit to a long contract?

No multi-year lock-ins. Marketing retainers carry a minimum six-month commitment so the work has time to compound — SEO, content, brand, and lifecycle programmes do not produce meaningful results in shorter windows. Project work is fixed-scope, fixed-price. Web development engagements run a minimum of four weeks.

Who actually does the work — senior or junior people?

Senior specialists. Every engagement is led by an expert who has shipped similar work before. There is no junior account-manager layer between you and the people doing the work. If you have a question about technical SEO, you talk to the SEO lead. If you have a question about React, you talk to the developer.

How do we communicate during the project?

Whichever way suits your team — Slack, WhatsApp, email, or a shared Notion workspace. We adapt to how you already work, not the other way round. Weekly progress calls are scheduled but rarely run more than 20 minutes; most coordination happens async.

Can we change scope mid-project?

Yes, with a clear change-request process. New work gets scoped, costed, and approved before it starts — so there are never surprise invoices. We would rather pause a sprint to scope a change properly than start the work and figure it out as we go.

What happens if something isn't working?

You hear it from us first. The Optimization phase exists precisely to catch and address underperformance early. Every monthly report includes an honest assessment of what is delivering, what isn't, and what we are changing. Reports that hide underperformance behind soft language are useless.

How do I start the process?

Book a free 30-minute discovery call or request a free SEO audit. Either route gets you to a senior specialist directly — usually within one business day.
